Associate General Dentist Required
Job Description:
Taking patients’ medical histories, keeping and maintaining contemporaneous clinical records in accordance with current guidelines and company policies
Diagnosing and providing appropriate dental treatment including regular cleaning, root canals, surgical extractions, implants and cosmetic dentistry etc
Referring patients where clinically necessary, maintaining logs and follow-ups
Taking dental impressions of patients’ teeth and preparing prosthetics such as crowns, plates and implants
Keeping up with best practices, new technologies and innovations in the field of dentistry
Engaging with a team including Hygienists, Dental Assistants and administrative staff
Participation in dental nurse and training and providing young dentist clinical support where required.
Person Specification: The ideal candidate must be / have
Current General Dental Council (GDC) registration to practice dentistry
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Problem-solving skills

Professionalism
Flexibility to adapt to changes in appointment books, treatment plans and patient care
Qualifications:
BDS, BChD or LDS from a reputable, GDC recognised Education Establishment
Professional Indemnity / insurance to cover all procedures and sessions
Recognised, certified training from an accredited educational institute for any additional procedures you may wish to undertake
NHS Performer number (mentorships available)
Ideally 2+ years’ experience.
PLVE and post FDT trainees would be considered
